ATLANTA, GA- The state Department of Education sponsored a poster contest to Combat Human Sex Trafficking, a growing problem in the state.

The contest was open to students in grades 9-12

This league is for men and women ages 16 and older.

The registration fee is $350 per team with a 12 player maximum limit.

Thomas University students were recognized for their outstanding academic achievements during the annual Honors Reception held Friday evening, May 4, at the Best Western Rose City Conference Center in Thomasville.

Approximately 350 students from Bainbridge College graduated Saturday, which marked a milestone where the number of BC graduates is approaching 5,000, and the college’s third president was honored for his five-year tenure that was marked by tremendous growth at the college.

“When these ceremonies are over, there will be almost 5,000 Bainbridge College alumni,” Bainbridge College President Richard Carvajal told the audience Saturday that packed into the Student Wellness Center on the BC main campus.
